Stun and blank room

Why do I get stun by an enemy after I have already killed it.  It's been happening alot since the new update  Also I when in multi-player, I've been in situation where I'll be playing and then suddenly I'll be in a blank room but could still see the others running around.  I can't even advance or when the other players reach the final room.  They can't continue because I'm in a whole different room.  This needs to be fix because all those experience points that I gain is a waste, not only that but players are getting annoyed by this issue.  This could be an awesome game to play but all these glitches really makes it hard to enjoy!!!
