I have a standard definition TV, and I've never really had a problem with the text of games being so small. Dragon's Dogma was even tolerable, but Dragon Age Inquisition is just so blurry and small t...

You can't expect these companies to continue supporting SD indefinitely. Its been almost 7 years since gaming went High definition. How much longer do people need to update thier TV's? HDTV's have gotten so cheap....well, its just borderline insane not having upgraded at this point. You can buy a smaller HDTV set for less than a couple hundred bucks. If you can afford 60 dollar games at launch, its time to upgrade to an HDTV. Again, you just can't expect these companies to support standard definition indefinitely.
Did you not read the posts where people were saying they were using HDTVs and having the same problems or...?
Players have already noted that playing on an HDTV, and SDTV, has shown no improvement. This is a lack of UI change options for the text size, not size or depth of the pixels in a tv. I have also read, on these forums, that PC users are finding the text pretty small too. Which is a little surprising given that PC users are generally a foot away from the monitors, while console players are generally in the 6 ft range. Well given the small text, majority of us are in the 1-3 ft range.
