I am playing on a 40 inch Sony HDTV and PS4 and have had to give up playing as the text is just too small unless I am sitting a couple of feet from the screen. The text being all caps doesn't help either. I upgraded to PS4 specifically to get this game so now seem to hve wasted almost £350 on the new console and the game which to me in its current state is unplayable. I hope this can pe patched in an update with an option to increase text size at least or I will have to trade the game in. How come this problem was not picked up in testing??
Same here, playing on a 40 inch HDTV set at 1080p, with the xbox 360, sitting about four feet from the TV after I moved my COUCH from its usual 10 feet away so I could better see the screen, but it's still tiny and barely legible at that distance. What do I have to do, put the couch right up against the console the TV sits on and burn my eyes just to try to see the text? It's already sitting inconveniently in the middle of the room, it's fortunate I'm not expecting any guests for the holidays, I suppose. This is just unreasonable. My BF, who has corneal issues, is having even worse problems on his larger TV and new generation console (PS4), to the point that he's given up on playing the game, and he was so extremely excited about it that this has been a big disappointment. As it is, I'm mostly skipping text on the war map and small quests (a circumstance that resulted in a bad outcome for one war map quest but I didn't actually KNOW that until I moved the couch closer and actually read what happened with squinted eyes, at which point I was too far along to go back to a previous save.) Please, please fix the font.
