"The Dragon Age server is unavailable at this time. Please try again later."
So I played DAO and DA2 years ago and was excited to finally sit down to this game. I spent about an hour dialing my previous choices into Dragon Age Keep in preparation. After buying the game on Origin and installing it, I get this message when the game launches:
"The Dragon Age server is unavailable at this time. Please try again later." Trying to log in on the game's main screen pulls the same error instantly.
Here is a list of what I've done:
-Rebooted
-Run Repair in origin and verified game
-Turned off windows and router firewalls
-flushed my DNS
-opened a slew of ports in my router as EA support requested, ensured all proper network settings (UPnP, etc) were enabled
-Ran the UO-Trace tool provided by EA Support, no packet loss over 100 packets.
-ran ccleaner
-Uninstalled Origin and the game, Rebooted, Installed Origin as Admin, Rebooted, Installed the Game, Ran DAI as Admin
-Removed my router and run straight to the cable modem
-Created new windows admin account, launched game, same.
-Launched the game in safe mode w/ networking, same.
...And still the same issue. Has anyone seen this issue? It looks like I could start the game in the default state but that sort of erases all those hours I spent before and I'm missing multiplayer and a bunch of other stuff.
