the mouse buttons dont work at all

hi,

finally i could install DAI from DVD. but now a new problem arise: the mouse buttons don't work at all, already in the start screen i had to select the items with the arrowkeys, then press enter. i tried another USB port and another mouse, still the same: right and leftclick don't work, even if i assign them to other buttons on my gaming mouse. but the same buttons work when i bind them to other keys like A or E. like that it's unplayable. i saw other threads when players write that they have it from time to time and get the mouse buttons to work again by alt tab out and in again, but i have it permanent, no function on right and left mouse button :catfrustrated:

The problem with mouse buttons don't working is Origin in game overlay - go to the Origin settings and disable Origin in game.

Do you have a game controller plugged in? Did you switch to this in the options menu?
It sounds like conflicting input devices. You may want to try unplugging everything but your keyboard and mouse and try that. You may even need to disable the HID controller in the device manager. But make sure DAI is set to use mouse and keyboard before anything else.

Hi, thanks for your reply.
no, there is no camecontroller and in the settings it is locked on keyboard/mouse (cannot change). nothing else is plugged in, only the mouse. in the devices manager there where four HID controller, but only two could be disabled.

i disabled the two HID devices and restart my laptop, as windows told me. but nothing changed. :catsad: still i cannot click or scroll in the game or in the menues and starting screen. the mouse pointer can be seen and moved though. :catfrustrated: so i enabled the two HID devices again in the devicemanager.

try right clicking on the screen to re-enable mouse.

in game the mouse buttons never work. the right and the left mouse button and the scroll wheel they all dont work.

me too, i am not satisfied at all. in 10 years of PC gaming i never had a game that could first not be installed and then the mouse doesn't work...
