@perfectlyhopeles For all who's still playing this masterpiece in 2022. Be wise to save in underground path AFTER the demons ambush but BEFORE you emerge into the blizzard. This will make your efforts much easier. Then exit game, go to your mod manager and OFF just the EYE mods (all of them to be safe - eye textures, lashes and eyebrows of all sorts) and merge without them. Then go to your convenient save and endure a few cutscenes with vanilla eyes ("The gall!" (c) Coryphy-*). Then save again when you're finally allowed, exit, turn all your beautiful mods back on, merge and play happily ever after. Voila, no repairs needed, works every time. Enjoy! 🙂
