Total Health of Companions Randomly Dropped?

Hey everyone!

So I am personally level 24 and finishing up some quests before I go to Trespasser. Suddenly I noticed Dorian's total full health dropped to 246. He went from having 10 little health blocks to just two. I restarted the game, tried to fix it, and nothing happened. I even unequipped then reequipped him armor and accessories, and still nothing. I traded him out of my party and continued. The same then happened to Vivienne. I was in a battle, ran away to another point, and her health dropped to the 200's too. No explanation, no change in anything. I now have two party members I can't use because their health is randomly so fragile. 

Has anyone else come across this? Just as a reference, my health is in the high 900's.
