Unable to click on confirm/back buttons on talent screen? [PC]

The game runs absolutely fine otherwise but essentially I cannot assign my ability points.

Auto-Level works fine but I want to be able to customise how my character levels - understandably.

I can assign my attribute points.

The buttons light up when I roll over them but clicking does nothing.

I do have the latest patch I think.

The game is unable to run correctly without a gaming quality video graphics card, per the system requirements.  The GT 520 is only an entry level (business quality) card.  It's not possible to upgrade a laptop or an all-in-one, however, your system may work to a greater extent than it is now, if you reduce graphics settings to a much lower level (it defaulted with your card to "Medium" setting because the card isn't in its internal database).

          Minimum:
OS: Windows XP 32-bit with SP3
OS: Windows Vista 32-bit with SP2
          OS: Windows 7 64-bit
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo (or equivalent) running at 1.8 GHz or greater
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 (or equivalent) running at 1.8 GHz or greater
RAM: 1 GB (1.5 GB Vista and Windows 7)
Video: Radeon HD 2600 Pro 256 MB (should be 2600 XT or X1800 GTO)
Video: NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GS 256 MB cards (unless this should be 7800 GS)
Disc Drive: DVD ROM drive required
          Hard Drive: 7 GB
Sound: Direct X 9.0c Compatible Sound Card Windows Experience Index: 4.5

This error happens every time I try to assign attribute/talent points.

  • It's a bit late but I am answering it anyway. If someone noob to DA settings like me gets same problem, then it'll be helpful.

The problem is with mismatching Aspect Ratio/Resolution. Try adjusting your aspect ratio/resolution. I encountered the same bug. In my case the aspect ratio was 16:9 and resolution was 1024*768. I changed the resolution to my native screen maximum res. (1366*768 or something) and the button started working. The crux is 'Conirm' or 'Back' buttons should appear above the quickbar while in abilities menu(and not overlapping with quickbar which actually causes this glitch). This happens only with correct combination of aspect ratio+ resolution.
