I have the same problem and this solution does not help. I open the launcher and click continue and then nothing happens.

Just tried running both AutoRun and Setup as admin. No dice.

Tried running as admin but Origin still wants to download it, it then times out with the message that it couldn't contact Dragon Age servers.
- Anonymous11 years agoI just bought DA Inquisition and when I try to install, there's a message from origin saying: "Please check your operating system. DA Inquisition will not run on your current operating system. You'll need to upgrade to windows vista(6.0) or newer to play." My current PC specification is : *windows 7 home premium (2009) *processor AMD phenom (tm) ll x4955. 3.20ghz. *Ram:4.00 gb *system type: 64 bit. Question: Should I upgrade to windows 8?

I saw that you posted this some days ago and was hoping thtat you maby had found a solution?
- Anonymous11 years agoThis does nothing except open up the same window which has you installing through origins (which is going to take about 2 hours if it doesn't time out. I have the discs, why isn't the option to install from them an automatic thing, or at least a given choice? Very frustrated.
- 11 years agoThis is my problem as well. I've checked that the compatibility option is unchecked, tried to run as administrator, etc. I still cannot connect to the servers nor can I get the discs to install without Origins. HELP!
