I am also having this issue and I followed all the instructions that were put here. I unistalled Origin, re-installed it from the disk, entered my code, tried to install. Nope. Only way to get the game is to download it apparently. I specifically didn't want to download it, THAT'S WHY I BOUGHT THE DISKS. Thanks for the epic fail before the game is even started. With as slow as this is going I doubt I'll even get to play tonight. Fan-freaking-tastic.
Yea, sadly that didn't work for me. I put in a ticket with support to call me back. It said "We will call you back in 22 minutes" that was like.. an hour ago. Haha I guess its time to make a twitter account as I don't have one. ^^;;
I believe from all the post we've seen so far, We're able to get past the Installing and downloading from Disc part correctly. The main issue now is that you have to wait on the additional Content in which downloads directly from the Disc and Servers. And Then The Update which also downloads from the Servers. Just because your Disc has stopped and the Origin UI says you can play Dragon Age; doesn't mean you can. In Fact you are still downloading the additional content so make sure you are completely done with that. If it says you have to restart the game then restart origin. But If you mouse over Dragon Age Inquisition click on the Info button, Down at the bottom you'll see the download status of the additional content. It will take a while before all of it is complete because EA Servers are backed up. Just be patient and wait for the install to complete. Finally restart once again just to make sure. The Soundtrack is last to Install. Once it's done all the other content should be done. Just don't set the in-game settings to Controller. If you do then you'll be downloading the game a 3rd time like I am right now. Trying to get my default settings back.
Well six hours from starting to try to install the game with no success, and 2 hours of sitting in queue in the help chat without talking to anyone... I think I am just going to return the game.
