Ok, this fix worked for me, so try it out.
Shut down your internet, completely cut everything off from it. Then insert Disc 1 and run either setup.exe or autorun.exe. Click "Continue" It stopped for a bit at this stage, as if checking for internet. It then changed "downloading" to "copying" and then proceeded to copy from the discs as it was meant. KEEP YOU INTERNET OFF this entire time. When finished it gave me the option to "Play". I turned my internet back on, validated and it let me play.
PLEASE NOTE:
I had already entered my key prior to all of this. If you have done that and you are having the issue where autorun.exe or setup.exe just opens origin this may help you.
