Unable to Install Dragon Age Inquisition GOTY DLC

Pretty much what the title asked;

I recently reinstalled DAI after a couple of years not playing it and noticed after a dozen or so hours that the DLC I had just assumed were baseline to the GOTY edition were flat-out missing - I have attempted to install them by updating and repairing my game via the Origin client to no effect and am starting to get a bit annoyed.

Searching through the DAI store page reveals that, yes, in owning DAI GOTY I do in fact own the DLC but am just unable to access them; wherein "DAI Deluxe Content" is listed as "Installed", the DLC Bundle & Deluxe Upgrade are just listed as "Unlocked", meaning that they're just not installed. Repairing / Updating the game does not rectify this issue.

Unfortunately, Origin either lacks the generally-standard ability to install DLC directly from the store page or the game itself, or is so terribly laid out that the option to install DLC is neither shown in any of the client's Options menus nor the Game's menu itself.

If anyone can help me figure out how to install this game's DLC without either resorting to some esoteric human sacrifice or completely reinstalling the game I'd be grateful.

EDIT: I should note that at this stage I'm kind of throwing Origin off as a lost cause; I've no intention of wasting my time reinstalling a game that only might work when it's done and I've definitely spent too much time with the product to get a refund.

Thanks in advance for any advice though!

  • Hey @realversache,

    Thanks for your visit to the forums. Sorry to hear that you are having issues with installing DLCs for DA: Inquisition.

    The only way to install DLCs for DA: Inquisition via Origin seems like to remove the game and upon reinstalling the game making sure that the DLCs that you would like to install are selected. Please see the attached image. (The arrow is there because there are more DLCs available than the ones that I could get in one screenshot)

    However, I do very much appreciate your feedback regarding wanting to separately install/uninstall available DLCs via Origin and I will make sure to pass it on to the teams.
