Unable to launch Dragon Age Inquisition saved game

@princesspyrrha That error typically indicates your Windows profile does not have Admin permissions to make specific changes. If you take half that error (minus the DA part) and do a quick Google search, you will find a lot of steps on how to solve that error.

It generally comes out to an permissions issue with folders or the game.

Is the Windows account you are using a Administrator account?

If yes:

Press the Windows key and "X" at the same time > Click on "Command prompt (Administrator)", "PowerShell (Administrator)" or Terminal (Administrator).
(OS specific differences.)

In the CMD, PowerShell or Terminal window, at the prompt type or copy and past:
takeown /f "C:\Program Files\EA Games\Dragon Age Inquisition\Update\Patch\" /r
(With the quotes)
(Should your game be installed at a different location, replace "C:\Program Files\EA Games\Dragon Age Inquisition\Update\Patch\" with the full path to the Patch folder. (The quotation marks need to stay in!)

hit ENTER
You should get a success message.

Restart the PC > Test
