Maybe this will help with the unauthorized DLC, in the main screen game menu, underneath Downloadable Content is 'Log In'. Try logging in with your EA username and password, and then after that, your DLC should then be able to be used. I had a similar problem with unauthorized DLC, and it worked for me. I have my original post here about it.
thank you for the hopeful solution but it did not fix my issue, as i am always logged into the server. i tried logging into another account and it says the DLC i own is unauthorized for that copy but the 3 thats saying its unauthorized for my account are ok for this account
never mind i figured it out. these items were from a promotion give-away in 2012. i downloaded the DLC but i still dont know how/why it didnt do anything until i was 1/2 way through the game
