I currently have an open case regarding this same problem. My account was taken over and 3 games purchased; I cancled my card and the orders failed, but not before the person, apparently, opened FIFA 15 and transferred coins(?) to another account, thus flagging/banning my account. Finally got the account unbanned after 3 hours, 3 cases and 4 phone calls with support, only to find that I could not purchase any new games using any card/PayPal...PayPal would show the order as 'failed' while the credit cards would just fail to authenticate.
My current open case with EA, open for over a week now, they informed me that it has been passed up to the billing specialists and they would get it straightened out...I haven't heard back in over a week.
I can say, if you *really* want to give your money to EA, you can use wallet balances to buy games; cards can be found at various retailers (although Safeway, Target and Best Buys that I went to all did not have them; GameStop had the $60 only)
I'm currently waiting for a 55-minute 'instant' chat to figure out why my digital delux edition has no delux content and cannot connect to Origin servers. EA is a JOKE. Steam for over 7 years, 100+ games and not a single support request or problem with any of the games. Origin for 1 month, 15+ hours spent on support, 5 reinstalls of Origin, 2 of TitanFall (46GB!) and STILL having problems.
