Unable to return to Val Royeaux and 35+ hours into the game.

Can't you just quick travel there from the map? You can't go to Val Royeaux through the War Table after you finish that quest.

That was the solution. I can't believe I never tried just using fast travel. I guess I figured since I can't reach it via the War Table that I simply cant go there.
