@FoxhackDN DLC is and or should be free for everyone now if they own the base game. All DLC for the EA app is downloaded there.
The EA help site we have for downloading older DLC for older games is specifically for Steam.
The team has confirmed this multiple times with us. They did bundle and change up a lot of DLC content for DA and ME but ultimately it is free.
The giveaway was a promo years and years ago for specific content. DLC and special content is not the same. We have nothing to do with a Humble Bundle from years ago.
If you get a specific error, there are steps for most unauthorized DLC errors. We would need to see what you are getting. With the error you stated, follow the steps in this article. If you are using the EA app, once all steps are followed, download them through the EA app.
If you cannot attach an image of what the DLC shows as in the EA app so we can take a look.
I did attach pictures of what the game and DLC look like in the client in the first post.
And the Origin Humble Bundle 2 -was- an official EA promo, so I should have gotten the DLC added to my account for the game too? But it's just not showing up.

@FoxhackDN Did we follow all the steps in the article for DLC?
- FoxhackDN8 months agoSeasoned Rookie
Yes, I deleted the contents of the addin folder, I deleted the temp files, I deleted the contents of the EA Services folder, rebooted, repaired the install. The game insists that I only own -this single piece of DLC.- (See attached photo.)
Edit: Also this. Why does the client want me to buy the game again if I already own it?
So the free DLC that was given to old owners - not the bonus items, but the actual story content - was not granted to my account for whatever reason. Which makes no sense. Mass Effect 2 and DA: Origins *do* have the DLC and I'm pretty sure I never redeemed any special offer for those.
All I'm asking is if there's any way to have someone from support grant this to me, since I'm apparently supposed to own it.

@FoxhackDN Support cannot no as they are no longer available to grant in the system. Any special items that aren't there now can't be granted any longer.
I looked at the account and I can see the game was accessed on this account but there is no billing transaction for the game. Where was the game purchased originally? I can see before the game first accessed the game as well but there are no logs for the game.
I also see that EA Play was on the account as well. If you uninstall the game and search for the game in the store, what options does it give you? If it gives you the option to purchase, that indicates being logged into the wrong account. It then becomes an account issue you would have to reach out to live support so that they can dive into the account.
Making you purchase only happens for a couple of reasons. EA Play or the wrong account are really the only reasons past an account merger. Since EA Play is no longer active on your account. you should see this from the store tab.
- 8 months ago@EA_Shepard I've followed those instructions and nothing has appeared under my Dragon Age 2 DLC.

@darklorddrex Are you playing the EA app or Steam?
When you are in the EA app, under manage games, is it blank, or asking you to purchase the DLC?
