Unequipped Healing Potion - how do I get it back?? PC version

Is there no potion in that slot any more? Or did you put another potion in it's place? If so, what potion is there now?

Never seen that before, but your best bet would be to go to the crafting station for potions/grenades/tonics and see if that will reset it, or if you can interact with it. Try removing Cole from the party, then adding him back. Also try loading a save from before this happened and see if your old saves are also affected.

You can also try running a repair on the game (open Origin>My Games, right click on DAI and choose repair).

So there's a bee grenade in the slot now...it's really weird. And I've tried switching Cole out, I've been to Skyhold, I've interacted with the potions table in multiple locations, nothing works.  I can reload an old save and if I go back far enough then it is fixed but it pisses me off to do that because I lose hours and hours of gameplay so I was trying to figure out a work around. I'll try a repair and see if that works but I have a bad feeling that I'm going to be doing a lot of replaying. This is the dumbest glitch -_- WHY MEEEE

Anymore suggestions would be appreciated.  

UPDATE: Okay I tried a repair and it didn't change anything. So back to the drawing board.

Try leaving Skyhold and just going solo, then add only Cole at a party change point. One thing you can try that's a bit more difficult is to take Cole on a large scale mission where the potion replenishment boxes are found, and see if using the box will force his health potions to become active again. You can also remove all of Cole's other potions/tonics/grenades and then take him out in the field, see if that does anything. Then try adding the items back in the field at a Keep.

Are you running any mods by the way? If so you can try deactivating them to see if that fixes it. If it does, then activate them one at a time and see which one is breaking Cole. Also try removing all gear and weapons from Cole to see if it changes anything. Try adding and removing him while his gear is off. If you are able, try buying the health potion influence upgrade to see if that resets it.

I wonder if it is possible that you were wearing an extra potion belt (I know it doesn't affect health potions) and if you removed it while your potions were at zero the game might have bugged out.

Actually how can I remove all of his other tonics/grenades and stuff, I couldn't figure out how to just get them off his potion belt. 

Not running any mods but I'll try doing the resupply box thing that sounds like a good idea.  That might force fix the little *. I'll try adding him and all the stuff you suggested in different ways and see if any of it works. I'm desperate at this point >.>. I'm loathe to redo all the stuff I did before I noticed I broke him.

Unfortunately I somehow clobbered Iron Bull's healing potion with a fire potion.  Is there still no workaround if you have already bought the third potion slot?
