voice audio bug
i just loaded up the game after a long break and i still can't hear my characters voice and this is from the character creation screen not even in the game yet and i checked for an update on origin a...

go into the game and check to see what option is selected for sound. If you have it set to something that uses a center speaker but your system doesn't have one, then sounds like voices may not be heard, or only be VERY soft. Try headphones or something like that...
I just went through all the audio options and its all the same very soft voice where i can't even hear what my char is saying.
also i checked my sound drivers everything is up to date.
how do i get the game patches besides through origin which doesn't seem to update anything for me.
To my knowledge the only way to get patches is through Origin.
ok so ran the check for update a few times tonight and 1 or 2 things popped up and thats it and i really don't think my game was patched otherwise the voices would be working properly.

The audio options don't have an effect until you restart the game. If you have a stereo setup, set dynamic range to headphones and restart the game.
ok i tried headphones and i can hear my characters voice.
and then switched it back to stereo and i can finally hear my characters voice.
thanks a lot its weird i never thought of changing the audio and exit the game and restart it (stupid me)
my other little issue is in the middle of my 2nd play through besides the voice bug my difficulty was changed from nightmare to normal losing any chance of getting the nightmare achievement so gonna start over.
