voice dialogue not working - how do I fix it?

Great....looks like this QnA is not working properly either.  Will try again.

  

I bought Dragon Age: Inquisition 2 weeks ago.  I was playing offline and everything was working fine.  Yesterday I hooked up my Xbox 360 to the internet and uploaded the current patches.  Since then the audio for the dialogue of conversations does not play at all (I still have music and sound effects playing).  I contacted the EA help yesterday.  I got a call a few hours later.  First guy helped me for about ten minutes (most of which I was on hold for), then he told me he was going to transfer me to another department as he said it was an in-game issue, and that I will not be on hold long.  Was on hold for over an hour.

   

Today I figured that if I disconnected from the internet and removed the disc 1 files from my xbox and reinstall them (only keeping my saved game files on my xbox) that it should resolve the problem (since I removed the patch files as well).  It did not work.  Voice dialogue still does not work.

Does anyone know how to fix this bug?  As I had absolutely no luck finding my post on here from earlier today, please email directly at [edit: email address removed].

    Hey! I think it's  Voice dialogue  is bug or something went wrong but I never hear like this before and Test to check for corrupted files in your Xbox and Clear Cache!

    Clear cache?  I removed all but my saved game files from my console and then reinstalled the installation disc (and did not reattach to the internet so no patches should have affected the data) - but still no voice dialogue.

       

    The game kinda royally sucks without the voice dialogue.  hours of recorded voice actor dialogue - and now I cannot hear any of it. ☹️

    This can be caused by the game outputting surround sound through a stereo setup. If you have stereo speakers, the voices come out of the central speaker you don't have.

    In the game's audio settings, make sure the dynamic range is set to headphones. Also make sure in your Xbox settings that the console outputs stereo audio.

    If you do have a surround sound setup, feel free to ignore this post.

    Still no luck.  Was on call with EA for an hour or two last night.

      

    I have even removed everything Dragon Age: Inquisition from my Xbox360 and reinstalled the installation disc.  Still no voice dialogue.  Music and sound effects have been working fine - just the voice dialogue is not working.

      

    I also think the lips of the characters are also not moving (which would normally be in sync with the voice dialogue - correct? )

    All this simply because I wanted to import a custom game world based off my first two DA games (and had to hook my console up to the internet to do so).
