Walk / run

Hello,

On the PC version of Dragon Age: Inquisition, my character can only run, the walk/run control key (SHIFT by default) does not change anything.

I have spent quite a while on a chat session with the support, and got quite a rude guy (Rachit S.) who wouldn't answer any of my questions directly, and only copy / paste generalities like, have you tried reinstalling the game, making me wait 10 minutes supposedly to ask a specialized team, but in the end he seemed clueless and hung up on me. Worst chat support experience ever.

No bug tracker either.

So I'm asking here, is there a solution or a temporary work-around for this bug? I have seen many similar reports but couldn't find any information as to its resolution.

Is this problem known by the dev team? Is there a patch coming, and when?

    I did a test with a gamepad and realized there were even 3 different speeds (walk, run, sprint)! A shame there's only one on the keyboard, makes it very awkward to play as a rogue for instance.

    Having to hold the right mouse button all the time doesn't make it much easier either.

    How did it come to this? Bioware used to do pretty good games, and it has been deteriorating since the consoles came in. Now I have the feeling they are made with consoles in mind (hence the poor interface and frustratingly simplistic game engine and rules), and partially ported to PC's.

    Well, of course it's a rhetorical question, we know why it came to this, yet it's sad to see it happening.

    Let's hope the controls and UI are fixed soon so we can play this game.
