Weapons and shields graphics bug.

Been playing for about an hour or so today, when this randomly happened when I lowered my graphics settings a bit for smoother gameplay. When I go to a new zone there are different colors or images popping up on my weapons and shields. Is there any way I can fix this or do I have to start back over to the last save point before this occurrence?

Your rig looks perfectly capable of playing DAO at the highest graphics settings.

I did notice that you have multiple Razer hardware devices showing up:

    DirectInput Devices
    -------------------
          Device Name: Razer BlackWidow Ultimate
             Attached: 1
        Controller ID: 0x0
    Vendor/Product ID: 0x1532, 0x0214
            FF Driver: n/a

          Device Name: Razer Orbweaver
             Attached: 1
        Controller ID: 0x0
    Vendor/Product ID: 0x1532, 0x0113
            FF Driver: n/a

          Device Name: Razer Firefly
             Attached: 1
        Controller ID: 0x0
    Vendor/Product ID: 0x1532, 0x0C00
            FF Driver: n/a

          Device Name: Razer DeathAdder Chroma
             Attached: 1
        Controller ID: 0x0
    Vendor/Product ID: 0x1532, 0x0043
            FF Driver: n/a

The Razer "Synapse" utility application is known to cause problems with some other games, (the Frostbite-based ones) but I haven't heard of any issues with DAO.

I also see "app crash" notices for DA2 and EpicGamesLauncher.exe, (you may want to check those out) but nothing about DAO having had a problem.

What install channel did you use?

If not the EA/Origin download, I recommend uninstalling your current one and re-installing that one.

If you do have the EA/Origin version, have you tried the "Repair" or "Update" options?

No mods. Legit game 100%. No cheats or mods or anything.

    Say's nothing was found.
  • You're missing the point.

We need the DXdiag report itself to see if there's a clue to what's causing the unusual behavior you're seeing.
