Western Approach - The Wastes cave

There's this cave in the wastes that supposedly opens up after defeating the Abyssal High Dragon (which I did), and indeed I don't remember seeing a cave icon before. So in my search for mosaic pieces I found out that there are supposed to be two pieces in that cave, so I went there some 30 hours after defeating the dragon, but I ran into an issue.

The cave itself is blocked by an indestructible stone cube. I can pretty much destroy every stone part of that ruin except the entrance to the cave itself.

    You can destroy the cave using the 2 hand warrior ability "Grappling Chain" which is an unintended bug however the cave normally unlocks after fighting the High Dragon and only immediately after because once you zone out and back in it seals..

    So i tried it in a diffrent savefile. i killed the Dragon and went in immediately looted everything zoned out and came back Cave was still open.

    when i tried the same but didnt enter the cave right away / zoned and come back it was sealed. so it seems aslong as you entered it once it stays open.

    but wow ! that trick with the crippling chain worked ! so much thanks 🙂

    Same issue! I never thought I'd be thankful for a bug, but I'm so glad that there's the Grappling Chain bug to fix this issue! :P

    Yup, I respeced Iron Bull for grappling Chain and it worked on the stone blocking the entrance to the cave. Thx.

    THANK YOU. Someone else posted to use Shield Bash, which proved useless, but Grappling Chain worked the first time!

    Whew, thanks for the grappling chain advice.  I could have sworn that cave opened up on my first playthrough and I couldn't figure it out on the second.  So glad I was able to fix this bug with a bug >.>
