Western Approach Dragon

The dragon did not open the cave during the fight; is there another way into the cave?

I killed the dragon but I don't remember a cave. Which cave are you talking about specifically?

The one that the dragon opens up when it lands to begin the fight. It contains mosaic pieces. Its at the southern most part of the map.
