What should I turn down first in graphics to improve performance?

I have a 660ti

Aside from resolution, tesselation and shadows have a high impact.

It's unfortunate that BioWare chose to package different settings under only one option: post-processing. You can turn off motion blur by making a config file, which gives you more frames per second and makes the game look better. In the game's installation folder, create a text file called user.cfg. In this file, paste the following:

WorldRender.MotionBlurEnable 0
WorldRender.MotionBlurQuality 0
WorldRender.MotionBlurMaxSampleCount 0

Thanks, i hate motion blur anyhow, i'll try it 😉

Fred, thats an excellent guide. I turned a few things down from ultra to high, the stuff he said didnt matter much and finally looks like I can go at 30 FPS which is good enough for me.

I am also slowly OCing my gpu...

Just a word of advice, NEVER EVER EVER use consoles or edit files manually to adjust games. It's the main reason why everyone always has problems and then tries to justiy how they always do it and **bleep**..The bottom line is turn the settings down via the options menu itself so it's done correctly. Mess with the settings and you can be sure problems will arise.
