What version is Dragon Age Inquisition Game of the Year edition?

I got Dragon age inquisition game of the year edition recently and downloaded it from origin. Looking to see if it needed any patches, I'm left in somehwat of a confusion. According to the various b...

    For future reference, the easiest way to check your patch number is to open 'package.mft' in your Update > Patch folder with notepad. If the version is 12, you've got patch 11 installed. 🙂 (This all becomes important if you want to use mods, otherwise you shouldn't have to look at it again, as I don't think there are going to be any further patches).

@thosrtanner Hey, checking the file version via that method doesn't really work due to how DAI is structured. 

Instead there's an Update folder that contains the patches and additional content.


My Update > Patch folder is 2.98 GB but I'm not sure if yours should be smaller as downloading all the patches at a later date might have more efficient space usage. 

The easiest way to check within the game would be to see if you have the Red Lyrium Weapons in the Special Delivery Chest.


In any case there's no reason why it shouldn't be updated to the current version.

I don't get the red lyrium weapons in my special deliveries chest (I have a few other things) but it looks like you have to do a quest on the website to get them which doesn't seem to exist any more. At least quest.dragonage.com takes me to the normal dragon age website and selecting character cards doesn't give any videos or obvious buttons to click

Addendum - i see from the page i did find about the red lyrium quest you don't get the prizes till you get to skyfall anyway and I'm nowhere near that far through

    @thosrtanner Yeah if I remember correctly the Special Deliveries chest is downstairs in the forge area in Skyhold. 


    That quest no longer exists so we're giving the weapons to everyone. This was added in the most recent update so if you were in Skyhold already it'd be the most immediate/clear way to check that you're updated.

      Assuming your game is up to date, you will get those red lyrium weapons in the special delivery chest right after you do the war table operation to get Dagna. As David said, no more web game needed, just get Dagna.
