Where Is Your Maker Now? - Dragon Age Inquisition discussion

Here's a 'general discussion' thread for Dragon Age Inquisition.

The biggest game (for some that becomes a problem) and also the one that won GOTY in 2014. But how do you approach Inquisition?

Do you pick every Elfroot and scour every tomb in the Hissing Wastes? Or do you beeline the critical path, power requirements permitting?

  • I did multiple playthroughs. Some completionist, some bare essentials. Here are my thoughts:

I think the game's story is better paced and the difficulty better balanced if you rush it.

My major gripe with the game is that the melee classes aren't fun to play.

    Love the soundtrack.

Great variety in characters as well.

I approach it similarly to Fred_vdp, I usually beeline it until the empress mission becomes available to unlock.

Then if I want to enjoy everything Inquisition has I'll slowly play through the other regions you can then unlock and treat it a bit more like Origins in just exploring different regions and doing side quests.

As for Elfroot, I usually have a friend who leaves a couple full bags in the undercroft for me. 😉
