    Hi there,

    Just have thesame problem .

I bought dragon age in a store in the Netherlands ( i live in Belgium so driving back up the is miles and will cost me more then the game ) .

i stored it for 2 yrs in my closet because i had othergames on my list that i would finish first.

Now i installed it finally and it says " an error has occured while verifying the release date , please contact support.

    What now ?

@tremordor Hey, I'm not sure what you mean by that. Do you have the game on Steam or Origin? What error message do you get, if any?

If you restart your system with a Clean Boot before attempting to reinstall, does that help?

    Thanks.

@lulleke001 Are you installing from the disc? Can you consume the code on Origin? Or have I misunderstood and you're trying to download through Origin?

    Thanks.

  • I have the exact same problem installing from dvd disk, Am trying to fix I think there is a problem with the validation site, it does not even have dragon age 2 in their FAQ / game list. Pretty poor.
