Wrong class specialization

Similar issue but with a mage. I get rogue specializations.

I have found the solution / workaround.

First of all, you need a savegame from before the war-room step.

Then, go in another zone with companions of the same cclass as your.

Use a spec point in their specialisation tree

Go back to Skyhold and to the war room.

if you are a warrior use the third card to launch the quest (cullen or something) !

And now, the good trainer enter the skyhold...

Previously, it was the leliana card (roguelike) which was only available to launch the quest.

Only the Leliana card is available. Tried KryoneK's solution, but doesnt work for me.  I've even gone back to a save before opening Skyhold.  Makes no difference... Argh!

OK, after trying again a couple of times, it randomly worked for some reason after going on safari with Solas, Viv and Dorian.

What seemed to work was clicking auto level up on all three, initiating combat with a bunch of npc's and killing them, THEN heading back to skyhold.

I guess your mileage may vary.  You DO have a use a save from before initiating the trainer quest.

Same here, I tried a couple of hours of playing with 4 mages, leveling them up, when I finally got to skyhold again -> Leliana only. Then I read in another tread, the problem can be seen when you start the game (I started as a mage but got a bow in the tutorial). So guess what the solution is going to be...

I'm someone who does a good replay every once in a while, but now it's going to feel like work. The game is just picking up dust right now, it's kinda ruined the whole experience at this point. (Plus this HQ thing doesn't feel like it get replies from EA employees very often, at least with regular support they let you know that they've heard your problem)

Anyone know of any fix to this that doesn't require going back to a previous save? I launched the mission a long time ago, so rolling back to a previous save isn't feasible, as it'll lose me a lot of playing time.

I guess worst case scenario, I just skip a specialization alltogether.

I've tried all of your solutions. Back to save: Went out with four mages, went back nothing. Back to save: went out with four mages and leveled them up, still only Leliana card. Back to save: went out, auto leveled them up, Leliana card.

Someone needs to remove the 'solved' status on this thread. I don't know what I'm doing different, but this is all but solved for me. And we need help from someone who knows, not just gamers spending hours trying random stuff. This HQ thing is the blind leading the blind and somewhat disrespectful on Biowares part.
