Did anybody end up solving the problem? I am having the same issue and EA help isn't being really helpful yet.
Tried suggestions from 3 EA help people including
1. Uninstall/Reinstall.
2. Repair game (origin also has an issue of blowing my CPU after repairing game)
3. Clear cache.
4. Clear registry after manually deleting EA Desktop, Origin.
5. Various network settings.
6. New Account only use EA desktops
Finally they asked me to delete the game and clear registry but doubt it works.
Edit: of course it didn't work.
A different representative told me to watch the official twitter in case they find a solution. No timeline.
