Same error, except mine started after the EA subscription expired in Steam, and I was playing the game through Game Pass, not Steam. I may have started the game through Steam months ago but since I reinstalled just used Game Pass.

This needs to be fixed, is the second time I lose almost 50 hours of progress due to a EA Desktop (or whatever it is) error.

  Nope. Just worked with support today and they told me to come make a post here. Unreal.

  I was able to play the game again with my old saves month ago. Dont have subscription anymore so cant try again.
