[Xbox One] Are the DA II servers currently down?

What is the exact problem?

On what system do you play?

I play on Xbox One, and when I try to open the game, it spends about a minute trying to connect to my Xbox account, before failing, and telling me I can't save. I found a solution, but it involves me going offline before opening the game.

@Underplayer1YT The server status you see is a message that is coded into the game and will never go away. In order to remove that, we would have to recode the whole game with a pretty big update that simply won't happen.

That server error happens due to the game trying to connect to social.bioware.com which no longer exists and a character data site that uploaded your character data which is not irrelevant to the game. Those sites no longer exist so there is no server to connect to.

Has zero bearing on your game, DLC, or the Keep. I logged in on my Series X and got an error as well, but went into the game and everything is still there and accessible. 

Damn, that's crazy, cause I bought the game on steam and all my DLCs are "unauthorized", so I feel like there is a difference after all. Basically scammed out of 3$. Which ofc ain't much, but gonna teach me to buy games from EA that I enjoyed and thought were worth having legitimately. Spent last 2 hours trying to get that garbage to work, but still can't access any of the DLCs.

If you have the game on Steam the DLCs can be downloaded and installed from this EA page.

@Kasseopea The unauthorized error message has nothing to do with the server message in the game. DLC is entitlement and content-based. The server error is due to my message above. Two very separate instances of the the game.
