*UPDATE*
Factory re set of console seems to have worked. It still isn't finished installing, so I won't do the happy dance quite yet. I'm scared to exit out of it now... BUT, I've made it through the splash screen and now it's syncing the rest of the data in the menu. So wewt! I hope! After spending all day trying to fix it, it seems factory re set is the way to go. EA GAMES : Take all of my trouble shooting steps into account and the fact I had to do a hard reset of the console to fix what ever the issue was. I severely hope you guys come to a solution soon to fix this for other players, and hopefully not, myself in the future. 😉
