Xbox One locks up at "Press menu button" screen

I had this problem, you just need to do a full power reset on your xbox one, hold in the power button on the front of your xbox one for ten seconds (even when screen is black) then turn it on via console again, (you should get the green xbox one loading screen) then you should be good to go. this worked for me, it should for you too.

Also thats how mine was, first it just kicked me off the game and back to the dashboard, tried loading it up again but all I got was a black screen, not even the press menu button screen, managed to get it on to the press menu button screen but it kept freezing upon said pressing button, alas, nothing I tried worked, but said solution I mentioned did.

I was having the same issue, but after power cycling as stated in this reply, the game loaded right away.  Thanks! And good luck OP, but it worked for me
