This might be the door bug that I've seen on PC. I don't know if it goes for the console versions too, but try this.
If you are in the ballroom and hover over the door and it says ballroom, don't click on it. It needs to say "vestibule." Try moving the view around until you get the "vestibule" instead of ballroom showing.
