As much as I enjoyed Lucanis’ final romance scene… yeah just realised that was his ONLY romance scene. It all left a bad taste in my mouth. Super interesting character I wanted to know more about. I wanted more interactions with Spite since he apparently is fond of Rook? Lucanis himself seems uninterested until the lock in and even then NOTHING happens until the final scene. It’s so weird. I would often go back to the lighthouse to see literally everyone BUT Lucanis want to talk and that happened a lot. Like did he have a bunch of stuff just cut or something? Same could be said for everyone. Bioware went on and on about how this game had the most romance content in any previous game. Guess they lied. They lied about a lot of stuff. Shame on you, Bioware.

I get what they were going for with Lucanis...he's trying to keep a certain distance because he thinks he's dangerous. The problem is that not only does it come off more as aloof and uninterested, the fact that he practically fawns over Neve is puzzling. SO disappointing.

Yeah it’s clear that whoever wrote that has no idea what a slow burn romance is. It’s not blatantly ignoring Rook and fawning and flirting with Neve right in front of them and only talking about coffee. I get they were going for “absence made the heart grow fonder” part when Rook comes back from Solas betrayal but that literally doesn’t connect in any part of the romance until pretty much the end of the game. His mannerisms just dont make sense.

I would have liked to have had more romance scenes with Lucanis too, there were a lot of affection scenes missing.
