Motion Sickness

Sadly DA:Veilguard is giving me the worst motion sickness.

If at least I could turn off the movement shake (I do NOT mean the motion shake).
In addition it would help to lock the POV distance and the avatar (3rd person) size & position.

  • Some players find the 'persistent dot' in the accessibility settings a help if they experience motion sickness. Something that might be worth a try if not already enabled.

  • I had this exact issue.  The little animation when you open a chest?  I had to start looking away when I opened them.  There are so many great games I can't play because for some reason they choose to grab my screen and move me around uncontrollably.

Fwiw, the persistent dot helped me, but I had to take breaks about every ten minutes which made it hard to get into the game at first.  Eventually I got more used to it, but some areas were completely unplayable to me because they made me immediately and badly ill.  The puzzles in Rivain were the worst, any of the tight dark tunnels were bad, but combining that with puzzles that grabbed and moved my screen was too much.  I just didnt play those at all.

It's hard to believe that those little grabby animations are so important to everyone else that it might be worth making it a miserable experience to some.  It's not like we couldnt have the animation without the grab.
