Setting deadzone to max did nothing for me, made the game unplayable and my mouse no longer works when set to 0.90

It was trigger deadzone you set right nothing else? Are you using another peripheral? My problem was with my Razer Tartarus 2. The game registers it as PlayStation controller with the L2 button held down continuously.

Yes just the trigger deadzone to max.
Yes it's for sure my Razer Tartarus v2 pro. Setting the trigger deadzone does get the spacebar working, but makes my mouse input go haywire.
I'm able to play by physically unplugging the tartartus (and using a logitech keyboard and razer mouse). Closing Synapse did nothing. Unplugging and re-Plugging the tartarus back in during game just causes the issue again.
Disabling any HID-compliant game controllers also did not work, though its possible I didn't find exactly the right driver. But I had no game controllers showing up in the windows game controllers screen. Dragon age controls were still off, couldn't control the mouse.
It's like I'm having 2 hardware issues at once.

The deadzone worked for but before that i had managed to use my spare xbox controller to rebind the L2 trigger (Ability Shortcuts) to ⬆️ on the D-Pad (Navigation Hint). Basically unplugged my Tartarus 2, went in to controller settings and swapped the buttons.
Doesnt fix the awful mouse sensitivity though...ive had to create a new profile on my mouse for the game that is set at 14k dpi just so i can aim the bow even close to what id like.
