Character appearance resets after loading a save

This problem started when I first started playing the game. For some reason, if I try to load an old save, it seems like there a 2/3 chance of it loading in a standard default character appearance. O...

Yes this is annoying, it makes no sense having a "default" appearance in the first place, i have never seen that kind of programming in any game character creation ever, neither in the previous dragon age games, here it seems like our custom apperance works as clothes rather than as a character in itself, normally the "default" is the character you make yourself, it shouldnt change to something else.
