I'm joining the list of complainers hoping for a patch.
I got the game recently, I had some cracking right from the start, but I didn't have too many problems the following hours, except for a few passages in the cities. But now the problem is really present in many places.
I've tried absolutely all the tips suggested on forums, and done dozens of tests of my own. Playing with VSync and refresh rate in game is the only thing that has a noticeable impact, but it never completely solves the problem. I tried all kinds of additional settings via NVIDIA config, but nothing worked (I got hope with G-Sync, which eliminated the problem for a moment, but then it came back later in the same area).
I have a quite old config, updated over the years...
