Screen tearing and jitter when turning camera
My PC is well above minimum specs (i9-13900HX, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD, RTX 4060 w/ 8GB VRAM) and yet I spent over 4 hours trying to fix my graphics settings just to make the game playable. As it is, the screen tearing and jitter issue is so bad that it gives me an instant headache and I haven't been able to get more than a couple minutes into the actual game. The only way I was able to solve the problems is by turning the graphics settings way down and setting the render scale to 50%. The issue here is that this makes everything look so blurry that it's also unplayable due to the eye strain it causes, also resulting in an instant headache. I have tried changing ever graphics settings, 1 by 1, to see what affect they would have on my issue, many of which required me to restart the game repeatedly. I finally got so frustrated after spending 4 hours doing this, that I decided to request a refund from Steam so I could purchase it on PS5 instead, but they won't refund the game since I "played" it for over 2 hours . Now I am basically out $90 with a completely unplayable game that I have been waiting 10 years for. I tried contact EA via chat yesterday and first was transferred in the middle of explaining what hte issue was, and then the second agent informed me that they had excalted my issue to their "Dedicated team" and it "will be fixed". I hadn't even explained what my problem was but they didn't seem to care what the issue was, simply telling me the "Dedicated team will fix it". Any help at all would be greatly appreciated! All Hairstyles with Braids Wiggle Insanely
Video attached. It does stop with Strand Hair turned off, but the hair visuals drastically change without it on... I really hope that isn't the only solution. Processor AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 8-Core Processor Installed RAM 32.0 GB GPU AMD Radeon RX 9070SolvedCrashing During Cut Scenes

Hi all I have a possible solution for stuttering issues on a PC, with or without a multimonitor setup ( I have 3x 4K monitors). I am unsure of the correct actions for an Nvidia card, as I have an AMD GPU. I was getting ridiculously high FPS (up 160 fps) even though I was using a custom graphics setting in 4K, Fade-touched textures, and ultra ( I think ) with Ray Tracing turned off. I am running the AMD beta drivers. Resetting the Shader Cache seems to have fixed the cause of my specific stuttering issue. However, I have saved my game now, so I will be keen to see if the stuttering reappears at any time to see if it is related to the Shader Cache. In Adrenaline software, find the setting under "Global Gaming Experience." I have attached my DxDiag in case it helps Bioware and EA / AMD patch in some permanent fixes. I hope by sharing my experience, I can share a possible workaround for the time being with my fellow gamers suffering from stuttering problems, albeit a temporary solution. I played Veilguard over year ago, today I tried it again, I was planning to continue story which I have player over 52 hours. I have upgraded to Windows 11 and when starting game (after game update) it was impossible to continue. Game was stuttering so badly that can't continue it anymore. It was working nicely over year ago, Windows upgrading caused that ?SolvedVeilguard keeps crashing
Hey, same problem here — specs attached. Downloaded the game this week through Game Pass. I’m a big DA fan, but Dragon Veilgard keeps giving me the same issue: I start playing and at completely random moments (usually during cutscenes) the screen freezes, audio keeps going, and then the whole PC just reboots. I’ve already tried lowering settings, disabling hair options, switching between windowed/fullscreen, deleting cache and config files, running in compatibility mode, everything updated (NVIDIA drivers included), disabled scaling on the .exe… and it still crashes.Inquisitor bug
I customized my inquisitor in the character creator, but when I met her in game she was the default inquisitor in the character creator? I was really sad to see this. I’ve had this issue with my rook a few times and reloading to an earlier save usually fixes the issue but how can I fix this for my inquisitor? This issue with rook has been a recurring problem and I don’t want to keep remaking my inquisitor to fix it. I’m so far into the game and I don’t wanna start over but my inquisitors appearance was really important to me :/
