graphics and sounds

I know this has probably been discussed at length but I was having major issues with my graphics and sound. My graphics would become blurred and slow and the constant crackling/robotic voice issues make this game unenjoyable. I did fix the graphics by turning the dlss setting to off, but despite 4 websites visited, my sound issues persist. It's a shame that this issue isn't being addressed or even explained. When the sound gets REALLY bad like my battle with the 2 dragons during fire and ice, I crashed once. After reloading the entire fight was with crackling/distorted sound and frame raste lag. Very disappointed.

Please add a DxDiag to your next reply.

A DxDiag is an overview of your PCs technical features and recent software errors.
There is no personal info in it except for the “Machine name” in the second row.
(You might delete the “Machine name” line if you wish too.)

    How to create a DxDiag:

    1. Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
    2. Copy and paste or type "DxDiag “ (Without the quotes) in the new field. > ENTER
    3. Wait until the green bar is gone > Click on "Save all information"
    4. Save the file to your desktop.
    5. Here at EA Forum > Click Replay > Click the paper clip icon at the bottom of the replay Window.
    6. Navigate to the "DxDiag.txt" on your desktop > select the "DxDiag.txt" > click on "Open".
    7. Type you massage > Reply.

Your DxDiags Windows error reporting section is full with "Bug Check 0x193: VIDEO_DXGKRNL_LIVEDUMP" errors.
This means that the DirectX graphics kernel subsystem is initiating the creation of a live dump due to an error that has occurred.

    1. Hit Windows key and X.
    2. Choose either “PowerShell (Administrator)” or “Command prompt (Administrator),” or "Windows Terminal (Administrator)", whichever option is offered.
    3. Inside PowerShell, CMD or Terminal enter (copy and paste) “DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Checkhealthwithout quotes. > ENTER.
    4. If errors are found, notify us. If no errors were found repeat steps 1 & 2.
    5. Inside PowerShell, CMD or Terminal enter “DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealthwithout quotes. > ENTER.
    6. The system will start validating soon. If it throws an error, please list it here.
    7. After it reaches 100% repeat steps 1 & 2.
    8. Inside PowerShell, CMD or Terminal enter “sfc /scannow” without quotes > ENTER.
    9. Post the message you receive at the end of the processes here.

    Then:

    1.  Follow this manual to the letter to cleanly uninstall all NVIDIA/AMD driver components.
    2.  Install the graphics driver > Go online.
    3. Test.

If that don't helps, go to your "C:\Windows\LiveKernelReports" folder.
There should be many "Bug Check 0x193....dmp" dump files.
(Might be in a sub folder)
Zip 2 - 3 of these files together and upload them to a file hosting service such as Dropbox or you can use the Onedrive 'public' folder.
    Post the link here.

  • this is what i got from that 1st command

DISM.exe/Online/Cleanup-image/Checkhealth : The term 'DISM.exe/Online/Cleanup-image/Checkhealth' is not recognized as
the name of a cmdlet, function, script file, or operable program. Check the spelling of the name, or if a path was
included, verify that the path is correct and try again.
    At line:1 char:1
    + DISM.exe/Online/Cleanup-image/Checkhealth
    + ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
        + CategoryInfo          : ObjectNotFound: (DISM.exe/Online...age/Checkhealth:String) [], CommandNotFoundException
        + FullyQualifiedErrorId : CommandNotFoundException

  • ok i copy/pasted it and it worked, ran the scannow command and ended up with this message(does that mean it's all fixed??? nm it wasn't)

Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files and successfully repaired them.
For online repairs, details are included in the CBS log file located at
windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For offline
repairs, details are included in the log file provided by the /OFFLOGFILE flag.
