Hard crash before character creation screen
The game loads up, I can manage the settings etc. But when I start a new game, after the introduction, the game crashes my whole PC and my PC then restarts. Sometimes I had to switch it off manually ...
Btw I got a refund, then thought of something I hadn't tried. So I re-bought the game ššš.
If anyone has the same issue, it could be down to using two monitors, so the solution is to unplug one off the PC completely.
I have two monitors, both plugged into the GPU, one is a display port and the other HDMI. When I game intensive games I always set the monitor to run off the main display port screen screen and have that one disabled but not unplugged off the PC. However I hadn't thought to take the HDMI cable monitor completely out, unplug it from the GPU all together etc.
So today I rebought the game, did that and it's now working.
