How to do Regrets of the Dreadwolf properly ?

Ah well my mistake the quest is still there, but my question remains, anybody knows if you can place all the statues if you find them in the "wild" before getting the one handed to you ?

As my first character bugged out when collecting the memories after the Cobbled Swan I collected them all before that on my second character.

For me this worked and I have now been able to finish the quest

On my first character I placed the statues after each one was found and, as you say, maybe that was what bugged the quest

Been thinking...perhaps it is patch related

It does not seem to matter how far back in my saves I go with the first (bugged) character

But my second character, created after latest patch, can finish the quest

Maybe if you have a character created before one of the released patches it cannot complete this quest
