Left stick on controller stuck going left

Question

I'm playing on pc and have a PS4 wireless controller connected to steam via a Bluetooth dongle to play it.

Occasionally, usually during a fight the control seems to stick on moving left and I either am forced off the edge to my death or stuck running in circles or into a wall.

Have you tried adjusting the controller deadzone settings?

Same issue on Xbox elite 2 controller. I adjusted dead zone, no change. Wired connection, no change. I disconnected Controller and did multiple restarts and repaired files. Worked fine briefly using keyboard but the issue has returned.
