I'm having a similar issue, can't get banter with Lucanis/Harding or Lucanis/Bellara in the last 2-3 days to save my life and they can't possibly be out of banter because they're not my main team. A few other combos too, but not as badly. None of the trigger points set off anything at all, so if I have any of those companions in my team, I'm just running around in dead silence early DAI style. The banter bug was not the cameo I was hoping for!
Have you been able to fix your problem since writing this? I took a break from the game to wait for the next patch to see if it fixes it but Emmrich and Taash banter still doesn't trigger.
