PC Bug: Riverside Ruins Chest Barrier doesn't drop

In the Riverside Ruins I have placed the barrier to block the charging beam yet the barrier blocking the chest is still inaccessible.  My understanding is that this should not be happening.  This is ...

Here is the screenshot (these forums are absolutely laggy and terrible for a modern company, EA - I am shocked).  I can not even include a screenshot.
