Portal bug in Bellara quest

Very straightforward really, I have to go deeper into the ruins for a quest for Bellara and I have to go through a portal for that. But everytime I go through said portal the screen goes white and the music keeps on playing like everything is working but I Can do nothing about it. Please help.
