Razer Tartarus

Unable to use the Razer Tartarus game pad as it conflicts with the dodge ability regardless of what key is is mapped to, default or otherwise. In searching for why my dodge wasn't working, I found multiple people having this issue and after unplugging the Tartarus game pad, I can now dodge.

The problem for me is that I use this game pad in most games as I have arthritis in my hands.  Technically, this is not a bug but a hardware conflict on my end, but I thought I'd report it officially on this forum as I'm seeing it on other forums where I've googled a solution to my dodge problem.  One player on a forum I play on says hers also affects her ability to shoot arrows.  I play a mage so I didn't experience this.

Hey deSairys I've seen similar reports of issues with Razer devices, can you try disabling the Razer Synapse software first to see if this is fixed?

If not, would it be possible to test with a different device? If not no worries, we have passed this on for the team to be aware of!

  • I'd rather not mess with the software as I use the device in almost every other game I play. because of arthritis in my hands.  I'll just keep it unplugged while I play Veilguard and plug it back in when I play other games.

  • I also have the Razor Tartarus. This work for me.

    Workaround:

    1) Set the Controller Trigger Dead Zone to 0.37. You need to figure out where it should be so that it does not move you to controller only.
    2) In Windows Device Manager disable XBox Controller.

    This worked for me 100%.
