Using a bow crashes the game every time

I have to be able to use a ranged weapon of some sort to even progress in the game. And I’m still dealing with the game suddenly going all dark and weird. The Crossroads looks like it’s in the bottom of a pit. Everybody’s eyes are solid black, which looks pretty cool on Solas, buuuut. So…… is a fix coming for the Xbox X series or should I just play Fallout 4 again? Waiting for any kind of acknowledgment from EA at all that these issues are happening to people. This $80 game remains totally useless and unplayable at this point.
